How can we unlock the potential of new media and technology to make the world a better place? How do we use digital tools to solve our greatest challenges and plan a brighter future by 2030?
From 22-24 September, the 2013 Social Good Summit will unite a dynamic community of global leaders to discuss these and other important questions. The event is the fourth in the series of annual gatherings whose purpose is to bring the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) to the public on a global scale.
Innovative thinking is essential to the practice of global giving, and we’re encouraging Kuwaiti bloggers and social media personalities to join this exciting conversation. On 24 September Mashable will host Meetups all over the world to discuss what #2030NOW means to specific communities and how their visions relate within a global context. In the 2013 event preview Mashable said, “As a global community, we want to address one big question: Where are we trying to go by 2030, and how can digital tools help us get there?”
