We were greeted with the best hospitality at Phnom Penh airport, which was rather empty. As we passed by the dilapidated buildings and the general ramshackle I though that, surely, the hotel would not be one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed at. I was wrong. This hotel, which is stuck in a central nook of the bustling capital of Phnom Penh is truly a gem on its own and worth the trip. It stares directly at where the Tonlé Sap and Mekong rivers fork, overlooking the wide bank. The service is extraordinary and everything is close by, so much so that we never even had to take a tuk-tuk to get anywhere.
