When we first entered the lobby of Prague‘s Josef Hotel we were taken aback. The institution is a sauve all-white decor hotel in a rustic nook in the historic part of the city. The reception was a bar and all the regular amenities have been reinvented to be compact and glossy. The interior of the rooms maintains that tone but brings in orange as a stark break to the repetition of whites. The location is central and the service is efficient and direct. Moreover, it gets lively during the evenings and is a walk away from all the charm of the Czech Republic.
