“Muscat: Starting November 1, Kuwait Airways will be operating non-stop flights from Muscat to Kuwait. Currently, Kuwait Airways has two flights a week with early morning departures at 0540hrs from Muscat to Kuwait, with a stopover in Dubai both ways, on Friday and Sunday.
“With effect November 1, the airlines will operate two flights a week on Tuesday and Sunday and fly non-stop Muscat to Kuwait or Kuwait to Muscat and one sector via Abu Dhabi. Kuwait Airways always strive continuously to provide best value for money, best services on board and benefits to customers,” said Rajan Jayaraman, district sales manager of Kuwait Airways in Oman.
On Tuesday, the flight from Kuwait will depart at 0855hrs and arrive at Abu Dhabi at 1140, and depart Abu Dhabi at 1230 and arrive Muscat at 1335hrs. On return, the flight will fly non-stop from Muscat to Kuwait by departing from Muscat at 1425hrs and reach Kuwait at 1530hrs. On Sunday, the flight from Kuwait to Muscat will operate non-stop by departing from Kuwait at 1525hrs and arrive direct to Muscat at 1830hrs.
On return, the flight will depart from Muscat at 1920hrs and reach Abu Dhabi at 2025 and depart Abu Dhabi at 2125 and arrive Kuwait at 2205hrs.
New schedule
The new schedule is a triangular route aimed at facilitating non-stop flights for passengers travelling to and from Muscat and Kuwait with convenient time of departure and arrival on both days.
Further, these flights will give good connections beyond Kuwait to Cairo, Cochin, Chennai, Colombo, Dhaka, Mumbai, Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta and Kuala Lumpur.
Kuwait Airways has also announced promotional fares starting from RO35 for one-way and RO53 for return to Kuwait, RO59 for one-way and RO90 for return to Cairo, RO53 for one-way to Mumbai, Delhi, Cochin and Chennai. It will be RO57 for one-way to Dhaka and Colombo, RO99 for one-way and RO157 for Manila and Jakarta, RO99 for one-way and RO164 for return to Kuala Lumpur.
Oasis club
Further, passengers can earn 500miles free by becoming members of frequent flyer programme called ‘Oasis Club’ when they first travel with Kuwait Airways. The Oasis Club membership provides various benefits such as generous miles and preferential treatment throughout, double miles to business class and triple miles to first class passengers.
Also, 50 per cent bonus miles are awarded to silver members and 100 per cent bonus miles are awarded to gold members. ”
